** The most important part of your child’s dance attire is a correctly fitting ballet slipper. Ballet slippers are not fitted or sized the same way as street shoes. They should not be too loose or too tight - they should fit like a glove. Our preferences are Bloch or Capezio. Please have your child’s instructor check the fit of the shoes prior to your child’s wearing them. Elastic should be sewn onto the shoe. To find the right place, fold the heel of the shoe in. The crease that is made at the side of the shoe is at about the right place.
